Terry Carter

Terry Carter is a 30 year member of the Canadian PGA and is the Founder/Director of the NGA and the Owner of the NGA Golf Dome in Calgary

For over 30 Years Terry has been instructing all levels of golfers and has developed the NGA training system of which all NGA Instructors follow for their instruction to all NGA Groups and City Programs. Check out our YouTube page for our instruction Golf Tips here.

The Academy has been instructing all City of Calgary Golf Lesson Programs operating out of Shaganappi, Confederation Park and McCall Lake Golf Courses since 2004.

Terry is a TWO TIME PGA of Alberta Teacher of the Year by his fellow PGA professionals, was nominated for the prestigious 2007-2008 Golf Magazine top 100 instructor in North America award, and is a top 50 Golf Instructor in Canada.

Darryl James

If the name sounds familiar, it may be Darryl's presence in the media as one of Calgary's top professional players. Having qualified for the 2014 Senior's Open at Canyon Meadows, there was a great deal of buzz around his booming long drives and accuracy off the tee. Darryl continues to wow crowds in North America while he continues his quest to qualify for the PGA Seniors Tour while making his mark on the local tour here in Alberta.

Darryl has over 16 years experience teaching both beginner and experienced players.

2007 and 2008 PGA of Alberta Player of the year/2007 and 2008 PGA of Alberta Champion, four time Alberta Amateur Champion and a 6 time Willingdon Cup team member.

Darryl was Voted golfer of the 80s by Alberta Golf Magazine and played Professionally in Canada, the USA, and South Africa from 1993 to 1999. In 1994 Darryl was rookie of the year on the Canadian tour.

Dan Cameron

Dan Cameron is the current PGA of Alberta reigning champion for 2015 and Head Teaching Professional at the National Golf Academy Dome. He also teaches at our city courses - Shaganappi, Confederation Park and McCall Lake Golf Courses. Dan is a strong advocate in teaching the fundamentals of golf and possesses excellent communication skills. All lessons include the use of video which Dan believes is one of the keys to better golf.

Dan has recently conducted in depth Golf Schools which covers "course management and playing lessons". Dan feels this is the part of the game that would improve a student's score the most.

Mike Fahey

Mike Fahey has been a Class A member of the PGA of Canada for 19 years, and for the last 5 years, he has focused primarily on becoming one of the top Teaching Professionals in the Calgary Area.

Focusing on sound fundamentals, and keeping up with the current trends in Golf Instruction, Mike has the experience and knowledge to help every student achieve their own personal definition of success.

There are numerous ways to make an efficient golf swing. Everyone has different strengths and limitations, and Mike will work with you and help you understand how to make your current golf swing more effective and improve your overall golf game.

Jeff Pineo

Jeff Pineo, graduate of Professional Golf Management at Georgian College in Orillia is a golf industry veteran of over 25 years and is an 8 year PGA of Canada member.

A life long student of the game himself, including it's history, courses and equipment, Jeff is club fitting trained by Mitchell Golf, Nevada Bob's, Golftown and most major brands. Jeff can not only help you develop sound, efficient golf fundamentals but can also assist you in finding clubs that fit you properly..

James Fehr

James has been a  PGA of Canada Class A Professional for 25 years and is a graduate of the University of Calgary.  James enjoys helping students shape their swing motion and develop a pattern of performance that produces lower scores.

In addition to helping new players feel more comfortable with their game and club golfers lower their handicaps, James students have won junior tournaments on the McLennan Ross Tour, CJGA Tour, MJT Tour and FCWT Tour.  They have participated in the Western Canada Summer Games, played on Alberta boys and girls provincial teams and participated in the  World Junior at Torrey Pines.  Multiple players in this group have been recipients of both Division I and II college golf scholarships and represented Team Canada as members of the National Amateur Squad and Young Pro Squad.

Former students have competed on the Grey Goose Tour, LPGA, PGA Tour Canada, PGA of Americas Tour, Outlaw Tour and Asher Tour.  

Whether you’re a new player seeking to acquire entry level skills and basic movement patterns, a developing player seeking direction, assurance and reinforcement or a competitive player looking to refine their game, James can provide you with proven strategies and routines that will enable you to assess, develop and evaluate your performance while practicing, playing and competing or just having more fun on a sunny day.

When not teaching, James spends his free time practicing and playing golf, learning, refining and improving.

Jody Boutin

Jody Boutin,  25 year PGA of Canada Teaching Professional and two-time "Junior Teacher of the Year" nominee, takes great pride in sharing some of the latest instructional methods with all of his students. Inspired by Chuck Hogan, Dr. Gary Wiren and Fred Shoemaker, Jody teaches private and semi-private lessons that accelerate his students' learning, which in turn allows them to enjoy their game to its full potential.

Adam Chale

Adam has completed 3 years of Professional Golf Management at Niagara College in Niagara Falls, Ontario. He is a two-year member of the PGA of Canada and will soon achieve his Class A Status.

Adam has been working within the golf industry in various capacities for 18 years. He is now focusing his efforts on helping you play better golf. He has a true passion for the game and helping people enjoy it more so they will play it more.

Adam is no scientist! His lessons are simple and fun with just the right amount of information. He creates an atmosphere that’s light and easy to learn in.
