On Course Playing Lessons with the National Golf Academy
Take your game from the practice range to the golf course with an on-course playing lesson from the National Golf Academy!
Playing lessons are available at City of Calgary Golf Courses, including Shaganappi Point, Confederation Park, McCall Lake, Maple Ridge, and Lakeview.
Book a playing lesson for yourself or bring up to three friends for a fun and valuable learning experience on the course. Your golf professional will help you with course management, club and shot selection, strategy, golf etiquette, and more — all while you play.
Please note that playing lessons take place during regular course play, and golfers are expected to maintain an appropriate pace of play.
All playing lessons are subject to Golf Professional and tee-time availability. Please allow a minimum of one week to arrange your playing lesson.
9-Hole Playing Lesson — Approximately 2 Hours
Great for Beginners
A great introduction to on-course golf. Learn how to navigate the course, make better decisions, select the right clubs and shots, and build confidence in a real playing environment.
18-Hole Playing Lesson — Approximately 4 Hours
Great for Intermediate to Advanced Golfers
A more in-depth on-course experience focused on course management, strategy, shot selection, decision-making, and improving your overall scoring and performance.
